My heart is filled with such joy today. We are anticipating the arrival of our wonderful blessing that the Lord has planned for us and today we had the privilege of helping a sweet friend with a fundraiser for her precious little boy who has CP. There was a great turnout today and it continues tomorrow. We are so blessed to be able to be there for these special friends. Thank you Lord for all these wonderful blessings!

God Is Good

Have you seen our FSP account climbing. We are now up to $1842. Slowly but surely each day I see a little more go in. Whoever has been contributing may God bless you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This journey has been amazing from the beginning. Our Lord fulfills his promises just as he says he would. When he says follow and I promise....you can be sure it will happen one way or the other. We have more fundraisers planned and will be letting you in on those as soon as we have it all together including some great giveaway prizes. Got to go help a friend with her fundraiser now but just had to post what the Lord has been up to.

That's What Faith Can Do

Happy Valentine's Day. I have so much to celebrate today. Today I look back at 25 years ago when my beautiful daughter was born. We had a major snowstorm that day making it beautiful outside. Our daughter outshown the snow. The day we took her home was sunny and 65 degrees and again she outshown the sun. She is my first daughter and my friend. My daughter is getting married in just less than 2 months and moving to Iowa. Oh how I will miss her but today I celebrate the wonderful day that the Lord brought her into my life. I celebrate that I have a wonderful loving husband whom I have been married to for over 28 years. And today I looked at my FSP page on Reeces Rainbow and saw that we now have $1622 in there. Praise you Jesus! It has been growing a little more each day. Our Lord has big plans for this family and we just can't wait to see all the blessings he has planned for us. We are so privileged to be his servants in his big plan. We named our fundraiser a few weeks ago "That's What Faith Can Do" because he has shown us over and over just what He can do if we only have faith and believe. We know he has called us to follow him to Eastern Europe and he is going to provide just as he has said. Thank you Lord for my daughter Danielle who was born 25 years ago today, for my valentine my husband of 28 years and for providing more each day for us to follow you to Eastern Europe! You are an awesome, awe inspiring, mountain moving, gasp causing God!

Where You Go I'll Go!

Can you say Where you go I'll go, I will follow? That's what we are doing. We will go wherever the Lord calls us. He is taking us on an amazing journey. We can't wait to see what all he has in store for us. We know the blessings will be amazing. Does it seem he is calling us to more than we are equipped for? Yes oh yes it does. But God doesn't call the equipped, he equips the called. So we are trusting Him. We know he will equip us for whatever he calls us to do. We just have to have faith enough to take that step and that is what we are doing. We are so excited and so blessed to be called to do his work. There will be more to our amazing journey so stay tuned!

Update finally

When I got home from work today there was still no update. I have asked repeatedly since January 14th. But finally around 6pm there was an email from my agency rep saying she finally had the pictures from her contact and here they were, but they were not attached. So I emailed her back to get her to attach them! After an hour of refreshing it finally came. See for yourself. She looks sad but healthy. She measures 113cm the same as Gracie in height. No weight was given. Her foot measures the same as Hannah's. I just can't wait to get my sweet girl. Fingerprints next week and hopefully I-171H soon after. Now we just need to get the money together. Praying for some donations to our sight www.reecesrainbow.org/sponsoregan.html. More fundraising and applying for grants. The Lord will provide!

Waiting and praying!

We continue to wait-wait for new pictures of our girl, any word on how she is doing. I have asked and asked for an update and though our agency has asked for an update we continue to wait. I just want to see how she is changing and most of all that she is ok. It is so hard to be here and know she may sick or cold or not being loved. We received our fingerpring appointments-Feb 15th. We are going to try to go this week and see if they will take us. We'll see. Then we wait for approval. Once we have that our dossier gets ready to go to Eastern Europe. We could be looking at travel in April. That all sounds wonderful but we are still very short on the money needed to complete everything to get our girl home. Please pray and fast with me tomorrow as we pray for the funding we need to do this. We know the Lord has a plan and we can't wait to see how he works it out. We have some more fundraisers planned but we need a large amount still. We are estimating 3-4thousand for airfair and living expenses and then the large facilitator fee of almost $9000 and then the added expenses for visa, medicals etc. Please pray for this mountain to be chipped away. Pray for successful fundraising ideas and successful fundraisers. Pray for our girl to be safe and remain healthy. Pray that her heart is prepared to love and accept us. Pray for our paperwork to be done correctly. Also if anyone would like to donate to this cause you can go to www.reecesrainbow.org/sponsoregan.html.
